Green Onyx Silver Ring

These beautiful rings are hand crafted by the Auroville Unit Aurosunshine. The silver (92.5) is melted in Auroville and the stones are carefully selected with an eye for detail, naturalness and purity.

The stone is said to symbolize maturity and according to certain legends it represents the fingernails of Venus. It has been seen as an aid in reducing the influence of others on own decisions and well being. The Green Onyx has been used by certain African tribes in rites of fertility and by others as an aphrodisiac. It has been suggested by some that the stone can help strengthen bone marrow and reduce hearing loss.
