Amethyst Anklet - Crystal Cut

These beautiful anklets are hand crafted by the Auroville Unit Aurosunshine. The silver(92.5) is melted in Auroville and the stones are carefully selected with an eye for detail, naturalness and purity. Stone: Amethyst (Silicon Dioxide) The name is derived from the Greek "methustos" and the stone is said to symbolize detachment and protection.

Accordingly the stone is looked upon as being a gateway to sincere and yet serene states of consciousness. The stone was praised by many, such as Buddhists monks (to overcome their passions), Aztecs, and Egyptians (worn by soldiers for protection). Saint Hildegard suggested that the stone strengthens the nervous and immune system as well as the skin. Note: Crystals are not a substitute for medical attention.
