Postcards and stickers : Elements from the Garden of the Unexpected - Matrimandir , Auroville.

Within a specially designed envelope, you will find a set of 2 beautiful digitally produced postcards and 6 stickers. Each of them depicts different elements, flora, and fauna from the Garden of the Unexpected (GOU), a 2-acre garden in 4 sections named Birth, Adolescence, Youthfullnesss, and Eternal Child, specifically designed for children within the Matrimandir Gardens.

The set is designed as an initiative to contribute towards Auroville’s land campaign and create awareness about the project. All proceeds from this set will go to securing lands for Auroville. This Artwork was digitally created by an intern, Shyambhavi Shukla, working at Studio Naqshbandi under Mona Doctor-Pingel.

GOU - A teamwork by Mona Doctor-Pingel, Joss Brooks, Madhivanan G., & Andreas Bickford, along with many technicians and skilled workers from the Matrimandir team. The execution of these gardens started on 21 Feb 2019 and is slated to finish by June 2022.
