KIREET JOSHI - I am prayer only

Kireet Joshi was an educationist, a scholar:  someone who worked his entire life to transform the education scene in India and to create institutions that would preserve the ancient Vedic heritage. Yet this book was brought out to particularly highlight the special place Kireet Joshi occupies in the heart of many Aurovilians:  Sri Joshi was a disciple of the Mother working very closely with Her at the Ashram school for many years; afterwards she sent him to Delhi to work for the Government, headed then by Indira Gandhi, as adviser on education. In this capacity he was given charge of the Auroville file, and worked tirelessly to help and guide Aurovilians.

This book is a tribute to a great man who played a very important role in the development of Auroville as well as in the shaping of the Auroville Foundation Act.

The more I entered into Auroville and its inner life, the more I began to feel myself becoming a resident of Auroville. My love for Auroville has grown towards infinity…
