These beautiful Jali earrings are hand crafted by the Auroville Unit Aurosunshine. The silver (925 sterling) is melted in Auroville and the stones are carefully selected with an eye for detail, naturalness and purity.
Amethyst
Amethyst is a violet variety of quartz. It was used as a gemstone by the ancient Egyptians; in the Middle Ages, it was considered a symbol of royalty and the stone is included in royal collections all over the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels. Amethyst stands for humility and modesty.
